This tour map of Phahonyothin District in Bangkok has the famous  Chatuchak Weekend Markets , JJ Mall, Or Tor Kor Market, and many cafes and bars. Chatuchak Market is huge and opens only on weekends, and is a "must see". Hundreds of small to medium stalls sell practically everything.

To get to Chatuchak Markets take the BTS Skytrain to Mo Chit station then take the walkover to the other side to the park and walk back south a short way to the market entrance on the northern end.
You can also take the MRT subway train to Kamphaeng Phet station which exits straight into the south entrance of Chatuchak Markets.

For the restaurants and bars take the MRT to Ari station.
