Bangkok Transport Map

A city public transport BTS map of Bangkok for your next vacation in Thailand.

Taking advantage of public transport in Thailand is one way of having a cheap vacation. Mix with the locals, but try to avoid the busy morning and afternoon peak period when workers are commuting to work or back home.

The Bangkok river boat services have a low cost all day pass.

Ticket office service hours for the BRT and MRT lines are 6:00am until 12:00pm.

You can purchase a BTS/MRT single trip using the vending machines at every station or purchase a Rabbit Card for the BTS Skytrain and other mass transit system fare payment in Bangkok. Purchase at any ticket office located on BTS train stations.
Tap the Rabbit card at the gate reader and wait for the signal to sound. The fare will be automatically deducted from your Rabbit Card balance.
You can top up money at BTS and MRT ticket offices at every station and automatic ticket vending machines at BTS stations. Various stores also accept Rabbit card top-ups

There are several interchanges which make it easy to swap between the different Bangkok BTS stations, MRT train lines and the Khlong river boat services.  With careful planning you can visit many of the major tourist attractions that are close to some of the stations and piers.
